We will be departing the WB/Scranton airport August 04th approx 11:20. Our route is I-81 to Rt 309 to Rt 118 to Rt220. We will have Williamsport PD and PSP escort with scores of motorcycles escorting this fallen hero home. We would love to see the fine folks in Hughesville along the route with flags supporting this true American hero and his family. Approx. time 12:15-12:45.
 
                                       DOD Identifies Marine Casualty
    The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

    Lance Cpl. Abram L. Howard, 21, of Williamsport, Pa., died July 27 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to Headquarters and Service Battalion, 4th Marine Logistics Group, Marine Forces Reserve, based out of North Versailles, Pa.

~Snow Removal~

When it snows all vehicles must be removed from the street. Parking is not permitted until the street has been plowed. If you don't remove your vehicle more than likely you will find a ticket on your windshield. The fine is $25.00                  See Snow Ordinance

If you are using a snow blower DO NOT point in the direction of the street. Snow belongs on the lawn side.

Annual Spring Clean Up                

         Starting April 26, 2010

                        Residents must rake leaves to the curb or  sidewalk                           in front of house - Ok to add limbs no larger than 6 inches in                      diameter.                   No alley pickups ~ No trash allowed

                   

            

                                                                 

As a homeowner did you know that it is your responsibility to maintain the alley right-of-way? Trim trees back at least 14 feet from the street and 8 feet above sidewalks. For more information see Chapter 23 of the Borough Ordinances.

When the form is completed we will enter your information into our computer and issue you a decal.
